Nowadays every supermarket has foods labeled as ‘healthy’.

But is that true?

Don’t believe everything you see.

Actually, every other organic or healthy product is very unhealthy. (1)

The reason for that is the additives and sugar in the foods.

1. Supermarket fruit yogurt and fruit juices

I put these 2 foods together because of the same reasons.

Juices and fruit yogurt from the supermarket are full of added sugar.

You have almost more additives and sugar than fruits in these foods.

Don’t forget artificial colors.

What to use instead?

Make fruit juices at home.

For weight loss, I suggest a mix of squeezed lemon, grapefruit, and orange (also good for the immune system).

Also, you can make homemade fruit yogurt.

Use low-carb greek yogurt and mix it with berries.

2. Herb cheese

Herb cheese

This cheese is popular because it is often used by people with lactose intolerance.

But, this cheese contains 50% of hydrogenated vegetable fat.

This type of fat has trans-fatty acids which may cause atherosclerosis.

Avoid this cheese especially if you are lactose tolerant.

3. Diet soda


Diet soda is everything, but not good for your diet.

It is full of artificial sweeteners.

Don’t drink diet sodas.

4. Margarine


Margarine is high in unhealthy fats.

Margarine is made from vegetable oils.

The high temperature during processing the oils destroys vitamins and antioxidants.

So, in most cases, all you can get from margarine is extra pounds.

What to use instead?

You should use organic butter with good fats.

5. Wheat flakes

Wheat flakes

Wheat flakes are often loaded with salt and E- additives which are actually sodium salts.

So, wheat flakes are high in calories because they are full off sugar, fat, and sodium.

And If you read the food labels carefully, you will see flakes contain about 20-30 % of sugar

What to use instead?

Oatmeals with berries, honey, and nuts are a much better choice for breakfast.

6. Dried fruit

Dried fruits

Dried fruit contains 3 times more sugar than fresh fruit and much fewer fibers.

So, don’t exaggerate with dried fruits.

Eat fresh fruits instead.

7. Energy bars

Cereal bars with honey and dried fruit and the inevitable hydrogenated vegetable fat are very unhealthy healthy foods

Many of them contain chocolate or caramel.

What to use instead?

Eat bananas.

8. Cereals


Cereals contain up to 30% of sugar.

So, if you want to lose weight avoid this food.

Oatmeal with fruit is a much better choice if you are trying to lose weight.
